Nittany Valley Sports Centre, State College, PA

The Centre is a locally owned and operated indoor sports facility offering recreational and competitive sports activities. 

Project Specifics

PHASE 1 - 67,000 sq-ft indoor facility

  • Artificial Turf Field(s):  25,270 ft2 of Nexxfield “PRO” and 4,200 ft2 of AstroTurf "PGPN" artificial turf systems

  • Multi-Sport Gym Flooring:  9,600 ft2 of Gerflor "REC 60" for basketball, volleyball, field hockey and futsal

  • Equipment:  (2) retractable custom batting cages, (3) basketball backstops, (2) volleyball standards, (8) bleachers and team benches, (2) goals, protective netting, wall/column pads and sport wall panels

PHASE 2 - 50,000 sq-ft building expansion to be used for hard court sports, tournaments, trade shows and conventions.

  • Multi-Sport Gym Flooring:  40,120 ft2 of Gerflor "TARAFLEX MULTI-USE 6.2" for basketball, volleyball, field hockey and futsal

  • Equipment:  (10) basketball backstops, (7) volleyball standards, (28) bleachers and team benches, (8) field hockey goals, divider curtains, protective netting, wall/column pads and sport wall panels
